With EQ based coaching, you will be able to better understand your emotions, how they may affect your reactions, decisions, and relationships, and use that understanding to be more effective and meaningful in your daily life. What does this mean? Think about it like a road map… You are trying to get from point A to B, so you look at a road map and find the best route. This is like EQ - by understanding your emotions, you are better able to navigate from point A to B and in the long run, go the extra MILE™.
Coaching Process
To better understand how much you use EQ, you will take an assessment via the EQi-2.0 tool which measures 5 areas of behavior and 15 skills of EQ. We will be able to see your current usage of each skill and create an action plan to increase usage and balance EQ skills. Another tool we may consider utilizing is the EQ 360. This assessment offers all features of the EQi-2.0 and allows you to receive feedback from peers, managers, direct reports, and others on how they perceive you leverage your emotional intelligence. We will leverage the results of your EQ assessment during private coaching sessions to help you progress toward achieving your goals.
