Let’s think about it…
A common theme around some of my Coachees are they suffer from trying to be perfect which can come with a host of negative implications… It exhausts them (i.e., it affects them emotionally, mentally, and physically). Sometimes they struggle with making a mistake (which should be viewed as a learning experience). Sometimes they second guess themselves.
This constant battle can hinder their personal and professional growth and affect their self-regard (i.e., inner confidence). To help build your inner confidence, consider listing your strengths and evaluating how you can leverage them more day to day and/or reframe your mind to think of mistakes as learning opportunities.
