Let’s think about it…
It’s inevitable that we will deal with stressful situations. Stress can be a motivator, but too much stress can lead to physical, emotional, and mental implications if not managed. One of the ways to help cope with stress is to find control over it. After researching and thinking about what works best for you, keep a list of all of your stress coping strategies. When you encounter a stressful situation, sometimes just knowing you have resources at your fingertips helps alleviate some stress. Then select the best technique at the time to manage your stress – perhaps it’s taking some deep breaths, exercising, writing down your thoughts, or connecting socially with someone.
