Empathy - Empathy is a Mindset

Here’s something to think about it…


Having an empathetic mindset is about listening without judgment, gathering information and asking questions so you can understand, and acknowledging that person’s perspectives. As Stephen Covey has said, it’s about listening to understand, not listening to reply. Being empathetic allows another individual to feel heard and understood and that is a key human need as well as 2 of the elements that must be there for employees to feel engaged in the workplace.


So, my question to you:
