Employee Engagement - Employee Basic Needs

Here’s something to think about it…

A critical part of employee engagement is meeting employee’s basic needs. Sometime we overthink or overlook addressing the basics. Two areas that we should make sure are met according to Gallup are that every employee knows what is expected of them at work and they have the materials and equipment to do their work right.

So, my question to you:

  • Are your basic needs being met?

  • If you’re a manager, are you meeting your employee’s basic needs?
