The Ideal Team Player – Be Hungry

Here’s something to think about it…

In Pat Lencioni’s book, “The Ideal Team Player,” he lays out the 3 virtues of an ideal team player with being hungry as one of them. Lencioni notes that ideal team players are hungry. They are always looking for more. More things to do. More to learn. More responsibility to take on. Hungry people almost never have to be pushed by a manager to work harder, because they are self-motivated and diligent. They are constantly thinking about the next step and the next opportunity.

My question to you: How do you rate yourself on the virtue of being hungry?
